Well I wonder what sorta movie these guys like really...
After reading all these bad comments about the movie...

You all probably did not like the story... Well the story is really simple... But movie directly shows a good director can create great things and demonstrates his talent even the story line is simple...

there are tons of stupid horror movies and all in all this movie is way better than many of them...

YES the story is simple... But it will make you to check the doors again...
and windows as well...

may be you might hear some strange noises... after this movie...

but if you like horror movies then this is the reason you watch it :))

I liked it... and normally it would recieve 6 from me... but since I did not like the comments and the main idea I gave it 8...

I advice you to watch this in a dark athmosphere... A dvd in house after PM would be the best way... and watch it with one friend or totally alone...

Prom night is not even horror movie it more of thiller movie and
I watch this movie in the dark and it boring and not even scary

I liked Prom Night too with Brittany Snow. I have Prom Night The Theatrical and The Unrated Version on DVD with Brittany. Prom Night is my favorite Brittany Snow movie.

I saw it twice at the theater. The first day it came out, and the night before my prom! That night, I got a free PROM NIGHT poster!

Horrible blond lead, who couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. Predictable plot. Boring killer. Stupid cops. No mystery, like the original. And the blond lead couldn't act to save her life, did I say that? Worst horror remake of that year... easy.

You can't have a PG-13 "Horror", it's just not possible. You could have an intelligent thriller, this however was not one of them. It was so full of clichéd suspense tricks of the trade that it just ruined the film.
