In my school a black guy won prom king and a gay Guyanese dude won prom queen, so it's not so hard to think a black couple would win. Just because the school was predominantly white and they happened to be the 'token black couple' in the movie doesnt mean they werent popular. the dude was the star quarterback and she was his girl, a cheerleader, and wasnt a b!tch like the rich blonde chick.

yes, im deadly serious. But yea i know, i died of hysterical laughter when i saw it especially since i called the exact pairing of king and queen once i saw the names on the ballots and saying 'it would be hilarious if so and so won king and queen...' the King was tall and buff and the queen was like 4'11 and had to have weighed like 90lbs...
