Question about Snape's doe patronus DH1 & DH2

SpOiLeRs

DH1 Snape's patronus charm reaches the forest, via Ron's story that it met up with him(?) to lead him to Harry, & in effect to lead Harry to the sword.

I'm just curious the timing of that considering the DH2 flashback. I'm guessing we're to assume the doe patronus Snape conjured in the room with Dumbledore was some sort of exhibition? Because DH1 Dumbledore is already dead & that room scene takes place much earlier than Harry & Hermoine's time camping in the forest.

Or are we to believe that Snape's doe was out & about waiting for such an occasion?? I feel like there's a simple obvious explanation, I just can't wrap my head right now.

I guess I was looking too much into it. Snape's DH2 doe in front of Dumbledore was some show of exhibition for himself, for Dumbledore, & for us the audience, not to mention a nod to Lily.
The DH1 doe patronus is an entirely unique event.

I'm guessing Snape was talking to Dumbledore's ghost in that scene.

They don't explain it in the movie but in the book Hermoine was carrying around the picture of phineas niggeluis (sorry if the spelling is wrong) from grimmauld place....she took it out to converse with him from time to time...there is another of his pics in the headmasters office so he was able to keep Snape up to date...hence he was able to know where they were and he (Snape) put the sword in the pond and sent his patronus to Harry for him to follow to find the sword.
