Question about Ned's vegetarianism?

If Ned eat meat what form would it come back as? Since it all skinned and chopped up how could it be a possible threat to eat? Maybe it would turn raw? IDK. And if it did couldn't Ned just touch it die again?

I was just wondering that myself.

I think it would retain its current state (like a fillet or something). Then Ned could re-dead and eat it. But the sight of your steak squirming on a plate must be extremely unappetizing...

“Your face is on the phone. Soccer practice is over and you need to pick it up!”

I would think it would turn raw much like the fruit he touches. It's dead and it returns to it's natural state with his touch. Does that mean chick breast is going to start flopping around on the plate? I don't think so. He's a vegetarian because it's be horrible to have to touch you meet alive/dead every time before you eat it and if you forgive or miss a piece then you bit into a raw bit of meat.

Maybe it turns raw (not alive, but just raw) first touch, than goes back to being cooked second touch? When he touches the girl who died due to an explosion in Suite Smell of Success, surely her organs went back to being cooked upon second touch? But then again, Barb's lungs didn't repair themselves when Ned brought her back in Frescort...so maybe nothing happens with individual pieces? They just return to whatever state they were in upon death.

They played fast and loose with his gift all the time. Like in Robbing Hood; don't taxidermist remove all the insides of an animal and fill it with like cotton and stuff? Yet it's implied Ned briefly brought a bear trophy back to life.

Well, my puppy spared you guys from a long rant. She jumped up on my keyboard and erased my rant.

Sooo... let me just say, they were a bit confused about Ned's abilities as it regards everything other than humans. IMHO they should have limited Ned's 'alive again, dead again' to those creatures that still have a brain. You know, animals of all kinds and humans.

Anyway, I didn't even think about what would happen if Ned touched a cooked steak or baked chicken. I just thought with his special talents he was turned off eating anything with a face. Makes me think of the episode with the offal pie and why Ned wouldn't eat any of it. Ugh... can you imagine the heart and innards pulsating in the pie? Yuck!
