I'm always too LATE...!

I have been a fan of this show for a long time. BUT.... I didn't discover it until long after it had already been canceled. I HATE that! Other shows I didn't get in on until after they were canceled:

Dead Like Me
Wonderfalls
Eureka!

Can/Will you guys recommend any other shows similar to these? Quirky, witty and humorous comedies? I'm looking for a new obsession.

Dead Like Me's pilot made me cry. It was that song at the end. God bless Mandy Patinkin. He has been my hero since the Princess Bride (an even better book by the way). But on to your question...

I loved Lie to Me as the darkest that it was. First two seasons were fantastic. Tim Roth had great chemistry with whole cast but especially the girl who played his daughter. She is great and was on Mad Men briefly last year. Third wealthier forerunner quit for another show and you can really tell. However, the series finale is one of the better eps.

I LOVED Life with Damien Lewis and Sarah Shahi. It ran for two seasons. I found it to be very funny, quirky, as well as dark as hell sometimes. Not say Millennium dark, but pretty dark. Also, if you never saw Millennium, the first two of the three seasons are great, but it's atmospheric and reminds me a lot of the movie Seven.

My last recommendation is one I ran across on Netflix and now can't be streamed for free there or Amazon Prime which makes me so sad. It's The Unusuals. I never heard of it when it was on tv. Stars Jeremy Renner and Amber Tamblyn - also one of the guys from the Matrix sequels I found the show endearing. Definitely quirky! This one I think you would like it seeing your list and knowing I own Dead Like Me & Pushing Daisies. I just would hate for you to spend money and hate it. Check with your friends to see if they know it but I can tell you I thought I was going to hate it. It's very funny. Renner and Tamblyn are very funny together. It's a good cast. More lighthearted than Life, but Life is the show that I go back to year after year.

Sorry for the long post, but I hope I gave you something you haven't already seen.

Can't you try to read about every new show coming up? You don't have to watch them all, but then at least you'll have a good excuse not to feel bad about loving them when watching them after their cancellation.
