Do you wished they could have touched?

Hey, I just binge-watched this entire show in four days and I was so bummed when I reached the last episode of season two. I really wish it hadn't been cancelled, but anyways I just felt like the last episode was so underwhelming since there are still so many unanswered questions such as Chuck's dad's whereabouts, whether Ned and Chuck would ever actually figure out if they can touch, how the aunts will react to Chuck being alive this whole time, etc.

Anyways, do you wish they would have shown in the final moments of the last episode that in some way Ned and Chuck could in fact touch without her dying again? For example, maybe because she was "alive" again for such a long period of time, he could touch her without her dying again since his, for lack of better words, power to touch and kill her would wear off due to extended time?
