The moral of Taslima's story...

The moral of Taslima's story is - when you're a guest at a party, don't crap in the punchbowl.

The moral of reading the posts for this movie is - if you've got a valid point to make, don't tell it to an American. They are too blinded by their narrow-minded patriotism to think of any other point of view.

reply

Right, and the radical Muslims are so open-minded, haha. Try standing up in a classroom in a Muslim country and spouting your mouth off about how right Americans are for supporting Israel, see where that gets you. Hint: a ditch with your head cut off. Terrorists aren't blinded by their narrow-minded religiosity, right?

What amazes me is how so many non-American Muslims and their left wing hippie Hitler Youth sympathisers spout off hate for America, slandering the character and intelligence of an entire nation (a nation that gives billions to charity, has helped cured several diseases and a nation that in productive and highly inventive) but seem quite happy to want to immigrate there (and to similar allied countries) and exploit the freedoms and economic benefits.

Since they seem to hate America so much I can only logically conclude they are going there to change it and take over rather than adapt and assimilate...and should therefore be treated as a fifth colum...all major terrorist attacks have after all come from mostly western educated affluent Muslims - not poor uneducated Muslims in the third world.

The moral of Taslima's story is exemplified by the expression: "Discretion is the better part of valor" (or in this case 'wisdom').

Sometimes, it's better to keep your thoughts to yourself.

Left wing hippie Hitler Youth sympathizers, yes. The Hitler Youth were notorious for their peace signs, their kumbaya chants and their repeatedly saying some garbled version of "why can't we all just get along man?"

Keep flying, son. And watch that potty mouth!

reply

You are aware that Hitler and the Nazi's described themselves as Socialists?

reply

Socialists who advocated nationalism...hardly left wing.

reply

And Soviet style socialism wasn't at all nationalistic was it?

They simply redrew the definitions. The Nazi's focused on what they defined as race...the Soviets focused on Russian culture mixed with strong working class sympathies.

Both murdered millions - neither survived the test of time.
