In the grand scheme of things Flame went out already half dead and Citron went out in glory taking with him like 20 nazis. After all he said he never killed an innocent and that little boy haunted him a bit. He went out like a true partisan and taking out nazis with him. Really good film. Netflix is crawling with these foreign gems .

Both faced platoons surrounding them with automatic weapons.

Citron was alone and had several automatic weapons and grenades.

Flammen was in a house with innocent people inside and just had a couple of pistols.

Given that their main responsibly was not to kill soldiers but rather to protect the secrets by avoid being captured alive they knew both did all they could
