It seems like Lena was pregnant (we can see her getting sick in Ibiza) and when she's pulled down the stairs, I think she's more worried about the baby than her legs. Nothing is mentioned about the pregnancy in the hospital though, neither in the rest of the story... or maybe I missed something?
shareI agree that the vomit scene was sort of bizarre, but I don't think that getting pregnant was too amor-fou destructing at that moment.
sharesimple answer, she was sick of having sexual relations with ernesto. She vomited because they had sex for six hours straight and he was not the man she loved.
shareyes she was throwing up bc she was disgusted she had sex with the old man .. she even thinks hes dead when she walks back in the room and doesnt care. and later she tells Harry/Mateo that she had the worst wkend ever bc of the old nasty man.
