Admittedly, I usually never think Almodovar's films are as good as the hype makes them out to be, but Alberto Iglesias never disappoints in the music department. I think it's his best score to date.

Agreed, Iglesias's two oscar nominations were about ethnic music (The Kite Runner/ The Constant Gardener), style that I don't like that much, but in Broken Embraces he delivers many memorable melodies, beyond the typical.
