Series 3 Ending *spoilers*
What did everyone whose got the DVD think of the ending? I thought that was one of the best moments ive seen on television for a long long time. James Corden's speech in the church was so moving.

iv not seen it but ill wager a guess that smithy stops the wedding he gets with nessa , gav and stacey get pregnant/have a baby and bryn finds love

I don't have the DVD but I saw it at a friends house, she thought it was funny to just put it on and watch me sit and wonder. I thought it was a nice ending. Not too dramatic or complicated, just a simple ending. Yep, it is that las series they're gonna do. It's been hinted that there will likely be christmas specials and all that, but no more series. I think it's a bit sad, it's a good show.

Felt sorry for Dave Coaches. I'd have preferred it if he'd have elbowed Nessa because she just kept getting more and more horrible as the series went on

I was expecting a big grand finale, but it was just a nice simple resolution. Nicely done. But we never found out what happened on that camping trip with Bryn!!
shareThey didn't really tie everything up at the end. What happens during the 6 months later bit, do Smithy and Nessa have a relationship etc.

I'm in the 'I thought the ending was great' camp.
I'd wondered if Dave was going to get really hurt (it seemed fairly obvious the wedding wouldn't go ahead), but the way Smithy came in and did his bit and Dave admitted the truth of the relationship to himself seemed a very clever way of doing it. Yeah, Dave got hurt, but you get the feeling he's hard enough to survive.
Shame it's the end, but better it end now with a solid resolution (and still a few what if...'s in the mix, and a few things unexplained) than to drag it out for another series. Just looked what happened with Fools and Horses - that should have ended with them becoming millionaires, but oh no...
