Yes but you know what I wondered how many viewers under 30 would get what the hell was going on there!

There was also the Sex & The City Homage with 'You Got The Love' taken from the last ever episode of that series.

Me n The Mrs were just saying how many people under 30 watching Gavin & Stacey are now going to rediscover that song i think it almost certainly passed them all by as to where it was first used

They will just assume that is the Gavin and Stacey song from their wedding and the whole connection with the song will happen again. It's weird that none of them will have a clue that was Scott and Charlene's wedding song! I still remember watching that on a Wednesday tea time back in 1988 when I was still a teenager! LOL That really shows the age of the writers!

Is that where the song was from? I knew that I'd heard it somewhere, yeeeaaaars ago, and suspected it might be Neighbours or maybe Byker Grove. Glad to have that cleared up.

Yeah I thought it was great they picked Angry Anderson - good call back for us old Neighbours fans! I'm proud to say I own the original record from way back when and still play the song on MP3 with some frequency!
