He's so nice, and good to Nessa and Neil, but everyone else is really mean to him.

The end final episode is nothing to write home about and is so predictable it's a cliché

No I didn't really like Dave in the last series, I liked him in series 1 though!

Gotta agree that the stache was good!

It's weird, first you see him purely as a comic relief character, then he becomes part of the serious plot and you realise he's actually a total prick.

I agree the more I watch the Christmas special and even when he showed up in the Barn Dance episode the more i dislike him. He was way out of line most of the time. Even when he met Smithy for the first time he acted like a tool by not being polite. And even in the Christmas episode he was stepping out of line with the way kept cutting Smithy out of his interaction with Neil, the baby.

I didn't care for Dave at all. The way he shoved Smithy out of Neils life really rubbed me wrong.
