Just remember to budget some money for fuel. Those Pratt and Whitneys really suck up the juice. Still totally worth it.

You can have your own P-47 radio controlled flying scale model, and they fly great. A company called 'Hanger 9' sells the one I have in 1/6th scale (82" wingspan) Check this link for an article on it:

The Dogfights shows are all great, but I was a little disappointed in the P-47 episode as it portrayed the Jugs as a weak sister to the P-51. Both are great airplanes, but most pilots I've talked to that flew them both preferred the Thunderbolt. In fact they tried to transition the 56th to Mustangs and the pilots would have no part of it. The later model P-47 M's and N's were much faster than P-51s.

Also, I've noticed about half the time, the animators have control surfaces moving in the wrong direction.

Still a great show I'll likely not miss.
