one thing that bother me....

...that the aircraft went down after getting hit a few times. I am not talking only about Japanese aircraft like Zero,Val, but also other aircraft like bf-109, Fw-190, Mig-15... . Is it realistic or the people who made this show were just lazy or they wanted to save cost?

It takes a minimum of one round to bring down an aircraft.

What do you expect? That those aircraft carry extra armour plating that slows the plane down but protects it more? Most planes just don't.
