It's a crying shame that this series got cancelled before there was an episode about the Battle of Britain or the Red Baron (Manfred Von Richthofen).
shareThey skipped over WW1 all together. The series goes into a lot of detail about each dogfight maybe they just don't have that level of info from WW1.
Yea no Battle of Britain what gives. Would've liked to have seen some WW2 Eastern Front action too.
They did replay the final dogfight of Werner Voss; apparently the British squadron, particularly James McCudden, who tangled with him wrote very extensively of the experience of trying to take down a single triplane with an ace pilot at the controls.
Why can't you wretched prey creatures understand that the Universe doesn't owe you anything!?
