shareHe has a few of those arguments and phrases that he goes to whenever he's in trouble. Whenever he's in over his head - lying, covering up, crafting narratives - he winds up trying to sound even more logical and professional. It feels safe to him, he feels like he's in control, and - I suspect - it's an ego thing: he knows he's got rocket-scientist IQ levels, and he thinks that, if he applies logic, he can fool everybody around him (even though Skylar often knows when he's full of it).
