People say this movie is glorifying violence? Did you even watch it?

OK, I admit, I am only half way through.
But so far I don't see this glorifying violence at all.

Some spoilers ahead

It show how sad the life of a 'tough guy' can be.
I mean, his life is going to *beep* Im only half way through the movie, and the poor guy already has fathered 2 kids, and Im assuming the 1st wife is history.
And he lives a life dictated by violence, and trying to be tougher. So he starts working out... sure thats no problem, but then he gets into steroids.... and it shows how the roids are further ruining his life. And they are sure to ruin his health.
He's getting into drug dealings, and other criminal stuff.

OK So I will finish watching now, but man, so far this movie is doing a pretty good job showing how bad the life of a career tough guy can be. He really doesn't seem too happy :confused:
