Hi, loved this film.
I had one question. I've watched all the alternative endings but was it ever explained how Park Do-Won (The Good) survived the shootout at the end. I know Yoo Tae Goo (The Weird) had the metal plate in his jacket as shown in the Korean ending. But it never seemed to be shown how The Good survived. He appeared alive in all the endings.

In the version I saw, a girl (I think it was his sister) discovered the three guys lying there. Presumably she nursed him back to health.

My friend Ray and I just saw the movie.

Ray is a full-fledged "gun nut".

First, he identified that the Good and the Bad were using 38 special ammunition, and the Weird was using nine millimeter ammunition.

According to FBI documentation that Ray has studied, the nine millimeter and 38 special round-nosed bullets that were being fired in the final shootout were very survivable as long as no vital organs were hit.

In a crime report from an incident that happened in Chicago in the 1930s, a felon was shot 37 times by police using 38 specials. The felon was shooting a 45 automatic. The felon killed 8 police officers, but he survived to be electrocuted later.
