You sound like I don't think the woman was evil. She was. Very evil. But the actress who played her was beautiful. Please note once more: I said the actress was beautiful. Not the character she played. Get it now? Geesh.

Being curious, I did some checking, and according to the writer Quentin Reynolds, there was such a person. On page 147 of his book Minister of Death: the Adolf Eichmann Story, he described their relationship.

I don't know if the real baroness was as evil as she was depicted in this film, but Reynolds, it seems, believed that there was a woman of that name.
