Well, it's a film for adults, and even all adults don't care for it, but most of those say it's just too bleak and sad. But surfing in the middle of the film doesn't say much that is positive about your atention span.

Figures. As I said, when you grow older...not necessarily a synonym for "old," despite what many young people think. I recall being there, myself. But that period of one's life does pass, and some folks even manage to notice their own changes and appreciate the different tastes adulthood brings.
Others -- not so much. Their loss. I think it's a horrid notion, myself: TV-sitcom-humor and blockbuster superhero movies forever. (I don't have an emoticon for "shudder.")

They will explain to you the difference between "childish, gratuitous insult(s)" and observations from an adult who has no malice toward the young and no fear of your wrath or power. I watched until the instant the credits started rolling then I couldn't switch off the TV fast enough. I had had the remote in my hand practically the whole way through, wondering if the extremely slow pace would pick up a bit. But it's certainly one of the most boring movies I've watched recently.
