Just saw it today here in Toronto at TIFF. Sure looked like some of the scenes were done at Toronto City Hall.... no one else can have a rotunda like that... NO ONE!! Wondering why it wasnt mentioned in Filming locations.
Story was well told and Rachel W was amazing.
I was in the crew for the entire duration of the shoot, and all of it was shot in Bucharest... Sorry, but it seems Toronto City Hall is not unique... :D
If you're referring to the scene at the end, when justice is done and Kathy meets with her daughter after the trial, it's shot in a Bucharest Court House.
What's Monica Bellucci like up close. Very good in Malena, Bellissima.

shareMy appologies, I only just now saw the film, and, if you're referring to the UN headquarters, the reception area, it was not filmed in Bucharest, and is probably your Toronto City Hall.
share I love it when people from the West assume that there's nothing in Eastern Europe worth visiting or filming besides Prague and Budapest...
