Yes, and yeahmaybe. Although, if they search the asylum, there is no guarantee they will crawl through the vents and find that isolated room. And I don't think it would add anything to the movie by showing a "manhunt" at the end. Either way, Ricky got away with it. Besides, I prefer the "this **** didn't happen" ending, explained in my daydream thread.
