Did I watch a movie about absolutely nothing? (Spoilers)

This movie was so damn predicable and horrible! I've watched too many TV shows and movies to know that the son was the head of it! Plus they never really explained how they all got together.

It was not made as a "omg, the son is the killer twist" type of movie. We are supposed to know its the kid all along. Whats tragic is how Dennis Quaid has been told all about the "horsemen" and what they are all about, and still when he comes to realise his son is "mixed up" in all this, he;s still beyond clueless to think his son is actually one of the horsemen. That was the point, it was not made for the "twist" angle. And honestly, the ending wasnt tragic to you?

Um, yes they did. They started finding out that each Horseman was part of a therapy group, and DEnnis Quaid's son was also part of that group. Its crazy how he still wasnt able to put the pieces together. He could have saved his son, and himself.

I also think it was supposed to be a big twist that the son was involved. It surprised me that the synopses say 'a detective finds disturbing links between himself and suspects'...etc because he only finds that about 10 minutes before the end. I admit though that I saw this on TV and another poster has mentioned that the theatrical trailer hints that all along.

There was only supposed to be one!

I thought the Parent Teacher Conference was about the younger boy.

I'm really confused.

But this movie was bad

I couldn't agree more. I was so disgusted that I had wasted an hour and a half on this when it was over. The story had so much buildup like it would end up being something interesting and ominous but it just sucked.

Plus the Chinese chick was annoying as hell.
