What was real and what was scripted?
shareProbably the entire thing, whether it was or not is irrelevant though, it's a pretty funny if at times gruelling film to watch.

90 percent of it was real. they only used actors for his assistants and the dominatrix and stuff like that. anything with ordinary people though was real.

I doubt it -- more like 90 to 95 percent scripted with maybe one or two unsuspected souls out of the loop.
I think the majority of people he interviewed and interacted with were in on it. Otherwise they probably would have called the cops or kicked his ass.
There is no way he could do some of the things he did and get away with it.
