When I heard Scooter over the Universal logo I thought "Wow, techno goes to Hollywood, finally!" Although it's obvious that they only used this kind of music because Bruno is from Austria. As techno is not so mainstream in the US as in Europe, and as such you don't hear it often in Hollywood films, the unusual soundtrack seems to reflect on what an odd phenomenon Bruno is (at least for Americans). Also the chosen songs are the kind that non-techno-fans tend to find silly makes a parallel with his kinkiness.

I personally, would be happy to hear (also more serious) techno in future Hollywood films. Just sayin'...
