Not his best work, very boring.
What I did like a lot was the commentary on the DVD where they explain the making of the movie, much better than the actual film itself.

I watched the Dictator and thought it was hilarious, so now I am watching other Cohen movies.
Since I'm not familiar with the schtick, is this film primarily unscripted like Borat and Ali G?
Yes, Bruno is essentially unscripted. He sought out real reactions from unsuspecting people. Personally, I thought Bruno was his best film based on his television characters, but I think Ali G was the best character per se.

This movie is miles better than the dictator. Theres a lot of social criticism in here which really shows you the true face of america
