Proof that this was all scripted

Maybe someone has pointed this out already, but if you go to the extra scenes in the DVD there is an alternate take of one of the moms auditioning her kid, except in the alternate take she is holding the kid in her lap whereas in the film she was there without the kid...

Anyway, Sacha Baron Cohen is asking her the exact same questions in both takes and she is giving the same answers.

I'm quietly judging you.

That scene was so blatantly scripted, who would agree to all those things for their child? Even if they were getting money. Plus there was a look of sarcasm on the parents faces as they answered.

In the child pageant/acting circles, probably mind blowing how many would go along with it. The parents of those kids that get pushed into that are more pimps than parents.

and how much did he pay ron paul! it's possible for some not all! for the parents, it wasn't shocking for me, they are for shooting pics, what ever it's it won't be real or hurt the kid, like handling heavy machines, the kid will obviously look like doing it not really doing it.

Exactly.

Or Paula Abdul.

OP thinks both of them were in on it? Whether or not some was scripted, the whole thing wasn't.

I disagree. Parents will do anything to get their kids a SAG card or to get them any kind of fame. If u don't believe me watch the tosh.0 where he recreates all the really sick/depraved pornos of recent past with kids. He talks about those sick kind of parents. They vicariously live their dreams through their children and it's sickening. It reminds me of the beauty pageant moms. Those kids should be taken into protective custody.

Some parts probably were scripted; others weren't.
