Could Linda be a more annoying character?
I hated every scene she was in. What a shame they focused so much of the movie on her.

I'm sure I don't need to tell you the character was MEANT to be annoying.
However, intention or not, if the character annoyed you to the point of ruining enjoyment, maybe it was a bit TOO annoying.

Interesting comment, OP. They did everything they could to make her annoying and they nailed it. This movie was a comedy. I loved Frances Macdormand, as always.
