Loved the ''Psycho'' reference...

Brad Pitt becomes both Norman Bates (as he spies through the slits of the closet) and Marion Crane (major character, played by a big star, gets killed off unexpectedly early).

Or is George Clooney Marion Crane getting her overdue revenge? He comes out of the shower and kills the man spying on him—an inversion of Alfred Hitchcock's shower scene.

That was not a reference to Psycho. Clooney wasn't even in the shower when the killing takes place. No creepy music, no blood running down the drain, etc.

I thought the camera view down the staircase from the upper landing during that scene was exactly like Psycho.
