Overall ok movie but did not appreciate the following:
[possible spoilers]
- forcing the flight attendant to kiss that guy (in the end)! what the hell??? and then ending that with her smiling. That just seems like endorsing assault to me.
And also the one who worked as an officer in the airport. He slaped the ass of a woman. Yeah, I liked some parts of the movies, but then there were these parts that just were plain awful, and I didn't like at all.
I don't know about the sexism, but I can see this movie hitting slightly close to reality. Most men viewing most women as someone who only wants to entrap them and get money out of them some how, whether it's through marriage or through a child support check. They're calling this generation the hook up generation because now marriage has declined, few relationships and more people are just single and doing hook up's through tinder. That's how the ending pretty much played out with them on the plane, single and mingling with the freaky chick sitting in his lap.
Good girls go to heaven, all the bad bitches come with me
Definitely. Also, ALLISON still wants to date JIMMY at the end. It's treated as a joke, but since we're meant to buy their relationship (they have sweet moments), it doesn't work.
This movie, written by 2 men, didn't pass the sexism test: We never see 2 women talking to each other of something unrelated to men.
- "Stop crying like a little girl"...
- "Man up" "Man up" "Man up"
I don't think these 2 comments were sexist.

Ha! ...actually, I didn't see the reverse in the movie Bridesmaids and it didn't detract from THAT movie for me...why should it detract in this movie? Fun movie no matter your gender!
On November 6, 2012 god blessed America...again.

1) BRIDESMAIDS is guilty of that too. People forgave it because of the new feminist movement. 2) I didn't find this movie to be fun regardless of the genders.
It really bugged me that when Gretchen says "I'm tired of dating *beep* that the men assume she doesn't love the guy. If I wasn't married, I wouldn't even be dating, most men are *beep* and notice that the groom was only interested in her because she was hot. That's pretty shallow. Of course women want commitment! Why shouldn't we?!
