Fallen Trees!

I love both this show AND Survivorman. I think they provide different types of entertainment and kick a$$ in their own way. I did notice something today that is a common theme amongst rivers or gorges to cross. He gets VERY lucky with trees creating a bridge for him. I'm not saying he hasn't crossed a lot of difficult gaps with ingenious methods (animal trap turned into a grappling hook, pole vaulting on "slippy spree") but I've watched three episodes in the last few days ( I record them all ) and all three have him saying "have a look at that" and its a tree that he either uses his rucksack to slide across or scoots on his behind. I did wonder if the crew possibly chops or knocks a tree down when theres no real safe way to do it. Stupid? Maybe but he does get lucky. Love da show though :)
