Seriously, these 2 guys were about the worst choice you could make. The guy from Minnesota was about as dull and boring a person you could meet and hardly said a thing. The New York guy at least was an interesting character, but he was a wimp. Both guys looked as if they hated the whole thing.

The NY guy was pathetic 'I guess I'll have to trust you' show some respect to a guy who scaled Everest at 23. The other guy went specifically to face his fears of water but then bitched constantly when he had to wade through a knee deep stream.
I thought the point was to pick newbie survivalists who were enthusiastic, not a couple of girls. Not to mention there's a whole crew supporting them.
