cost $60 million to make. WTF? This could have been filmed for 500,000 (obviously not including JR fee) But jesus! $60 million?

Where did you get 500,000 from?

Cast payemt
Crew payment
location costs
location hotels etc for crew and cast
location travel
equipment hire
insurance
food per day
set dressing
costumes

Please, break down your thought process for me because as someone who HAS made feature films before - 500,000 wouldnt even get you a low budget feature in the UK

of course, the camera alone costs $250,000 each, so there goes your budget. Sure you could use a camcorder, but then you'll be broadcasting on youtube.
