This anime is so good but then after L died it went downhill for me... i wish they kept him alive and i didn't like how Light was being on the last episode. It didnt feel like him... i reckon he couldve thought of a way to get out of the wearhouse and write names quickly from his watch. It would've been cool if we saw him in the Death god realm or atleast see L again. It could've thickened the plot i guess. Overall i really loved this anime but ending sucked :)

shareIt makes sense for the detective after L to put it together fairly quickly given the facts. There's only so much coincidence that Light could rely on.
I'm a bit surprised Light didn't just take over the world right there, which is what he promised right after L died.
Even so, it was bold to off such a huge character as L. Totally unexpected and one of the best deaths in Anime.
I agree, I really hate the ending. I always stop watching the show after L died. The show just really deteriorated after that.
