The film's cute and all, but I didn't like it.

It seemed pointless and way too random. I watched this because I was impressed with how good Spirited Away was, but this film ultimately underwhelmed me. I was fine with the art and I thought the characters were cute, but that's about it. Ponyo's obsession with ham was kind of just tacked in there...for no apparent reason. What's up with that? Ponyo's sister fishies weren't "sisters" as much as they were her pets.

As you can probably tell from the stuff I pointed out, the movie wasn't very memorable. Too many random things happening. I thought it was full of flashy stuff; it lacked heart, in my opinion.
