I picked up this movie because the fish/sea thing looked cute. When ponyo became a girl only 15-20 mins into the movie, it suddenly because overwhelmingly boring and I couldn't watch anymore.

If the movie is advertised with a fish thing on the cover, that fish should actually form a major part of the movie. I find it misleading that ponyo became a girl so early in the movie.

The movie was incredible. She also turns back into a fish towards the end of the movie.

I dont agree that it was boring, but I think the film could have stood to be a little longer than it was, so maybe they could have added in a few more underwater scenes.
