Voltage Pictures has guaranteed a Fall 2008 theatrical release, 1,500 + theaters.
A similar movie that's definitely going Straight to video though is Black Waters of Echo's Pond. You can compare both trailers and see this one is way more expensive and with a more well-known cast.
