not that having a happy end would have made it any better, yanno. cos Floriane had her problems fitting into her (as I've heard it called) Promiscuous Straight Girl Image.

What was up with the kiss between Marie and her friend on the bed?

This movie annoyed me. I guess it was just a bit slow. Aaand I hate swimming.

That, and Floriane's character reminded me of someone I'd had a crush on at that age.

Poor Marie D:

I mean, I'm sure it was a good movie but I felt like I was starving and being fed with one of those Quaker Granola bars. You know- "MOAR!".

Hermione just likes Ron because he reminds her of Ginny.

Yes the director could'va gone with different directions but she chose none, it seems all these movies and TV shows go for the open ending these days.

Also the ending scene with Floriane dancing was as lame as it gets.

The kiss, that I believe you are referring to, between Marie and Anne, was a friendly kiss. It was not on the lips, it was lower on the cheek.

Yes, it was a friendly kiss. remember, in France, pecks on the cheek are a sign of friendship and honor, not love, and done between sexes all the time; even male to male amongst the most macho of men.
