In this scene, the guy tells her he likes her and appears to be prepared to give her what she wants. Or so it looked to me. Is it that she still felt she was being used? If so, I wasn’t quite getting that.

I thought the bra burying happened in Marie's garden. I interpreted it as Anne's wish for Marie's chest to grow and develop: in her head, Anne did live in a "princess" / fairy-tale type world and this act certainly ties into that. It is also a nice way of showing Anne still caring for Marie, being aware of Marie's self-consciousness about her body even after their body-consciousness being a key insult area during their falling out in the McDonalds.

I think she realized she was being used when he said he liked her. Maybe she believed that Francois had had sex with Floriane (do you think they actually did?), and therefore she thought he was lying when he said he liked her so she would continue to have sex with him.
I agree though, it was very confusing. Actually, most of her actions were.

It's because Francois just wanted to do the deed literally right then and there, again. There was no affection shown to legitimatize the relationship in public, and that's what upset Anne because it verified that Francois just wanted a secret outlet with Anne, nothing more.
in the scene where they first have sex, francois never kisses anne, and later on when she describes her first time to marie, she says "there's still my first kiss." so basically she lost her virginity but still hadn't had her first kiss (that line just broke my heart btw). i think she realized that francois had just used her, and when he went to use her again at the party, she made it seem like she was going to kiss him (like he had done to her) and then just left him hanging. literally.. haha. but yeah. very sad ending but i liked that anne became strong and realized he was just a jerk.
