This or 'Fat Girl' ('A Ma Soeur')?

Both films deal with teenage sexuality, coming to terms with adolescence and losing one's virginity.

If you have seen both movies, which of the two did you like more?

This one for sure. Fat Girl was pretty stupid, sensationalistic, and didn't cover anywhere near the ground that this one did. (My 2 cents)

The young actress playing Anne in Water Lilies reminded me very much of the young actress who played the fat girl in A Ma Soeur. Aside from that I think the films are quite different.

The distance is nothing. The first step is the hardest.

Please do not compare these two movies. Water Lilles is fantastic. Fat Girl is rubbish, best avoided, with a dire and sickening ending.
