hmmm...

very depressing film. never read the book. renfro's scenes were heartbreaking, considering this was the last movie he made before he passed, and sadly ironic some of his dialogue in relation to this.

idk like all BEE things this left me with a feeling of unease...n if anything, that should count for something, as it wasnt just a party like a rockstar movie- the consequences had already set in- moral lines had been crossed--if anything the film examines the period between the "free love" of the 60s and the diseases that arose in the 80s--- a sort of tragic gamble of genetic karma or something..

But more so how our culture has gone downhill....we may be more informed today but our culture is still just as plastic. We still do anything for beauty/prestige even if it could kill us
