She looked very 80's to me. It's hard to dislike her nude scenes, even though the rest of the movie has it's flaws.
I thought the last scene on the beach with the fly was very powerful. It MAY have been a liability that even at THAT point you still wanted to "lick the sweat off her rump" (as another thread puts it). It's probably not realistic that a dying girl would look that good, but for whatever reason it still worked for me.
Her dying on the beach was a powerful and disconcerting scene in an otherwise poorly conceived and realized film. I thought it was actually very realistic that someone as attractive as her could still look beautiful even though she's decaying.
