Things that bothered me. Not realistic

Ok I was fast forwarding a little because it's became boring at the middle. So I could miss some things. Or it was explained. These things were bothering me.

1. Women sleeping around in that facility. Willingly before the whole King Went Mad. Including Doctor and Woman in Glasses. What did they planned to do when becoming pregnant being blind and forgotten?

2. How much time passed? At first it was assumed that government dumped all sick people into that facility. That's why they kept feeding them. Because didn't know what to do.

But then we saw Danny Glower via his radio explaining that many many more people were getting blind including president or whoever Sandra Oh was. So army had to have hundreds of such facilities?

But they kept feeding our people. Even tho abandoning them was logical step. We saw how at the end, because of fire, they went outside and saw that there was no one guarding. And then they went to city and it looks like apocalypse was happening for a while.

So when did army stopped sending food to our people?

3. No one was using stick to walk around. So they kept bumping.

4. Woman that could see was quiet careless. She was walking straight. Other people would notice she was seeing. She should have bumped into things there and there to keep illusion going.

5. How many bullets did King have and where did he got gun? I thought he would run off them. But no.
