I have not seen "FAR NORTH" advertised anywhere in the UK.
Does anybody know where & when the movie will be released?
Will it be available on DVD? If so, when?
In the meantime, is it on any torrent site? I couldn't find it anywhere

Hi there,
I was just about to post a notice about this. But UK distribution company Soda Pictures (my lovely employers- www.sodapictures.com) have just announced the acquisition of this title for release in the UK.
We are hoping for an Autumn release of the film so keep your eyes peeled around late summer.
I first watched the film as a preview screener and whilst I enjoyed the film it was most definitely a different and amazing film on the big screen- the scenery and landscapes (filmed in Norway) are amazing.

I am very much looking forward to seeing this film. Sean Bean and the Norwegian scenery (I've been there on holiday several times) are the main attractions for me.
However, the movie sounds interesting on its own merit, especially as I never got around to reading the book.

Next screening in the UK, according to The Mighty Bean site, will be on February 18 and 19 at the Glasgow Film Festival, Glasgow, UK. The screening on Monday the 18th will be introduced by director Asif Kapadia who will answer questions after the screening.
