better than Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull

I like this movie, but even if you hate it, you have to admit it is better that Indiana Jones IV.
It is a rehash of the second movie, I wish Indy 4 was just a rehash of any of the previous movies.
Even though it is a mistake to have Brendan Fraser character look the same as in the second, and the new Evy is not as hot as the original actress, still that´s better than the old Indy being able to do all those stunts, and ruining the hot actress from Indy I showing her 40 years later being old and fat.

I have a different approach to your theory. The original indiana jones triliogy were such quality films all in all and crystal skull taking such a nose dive in all around quality makes it worse than Mummy 3 because the mummy series have always been built on a certain amount of camp and innacuracy and the understanding that while they might not be top notch in story telling, they were fun enough to watch and to a certain degree mummy 3 had some of those aspects so it fell from glory but not that far behind if that makes sense.

Whilst indy 4 wasn't as good as the first 3, it was still far superior to this.

Shia Labeouf may have been annoying, but he still had better onscreen chemistry with Ford then the O'connors did in this film. This is a big thing, what made the 1st two mummy films work was character chemistry. Without that, it's just a sucky b movie.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was a complete disappointment. On the other hand I could actually finish it, while I gave up part way through this one. I guess Crystal Skull wins.

Crystal Skull is actually a good film. It's a good film in a series of great films, that's the problem it has. Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is a poor film in a series of good films.
