Who knew the 'Governor' could be so yummy?

I believe I had only seen David Morrisey as the Governor in The Walking Dead, where although charming he is cruel and creepy.

Then I watched this version of S&S the other day and while at first I was creeped out by his Brandon because I couldn't shake his performance as the Governor from my mind, I ended up thinking he was the best thing (maybe the only good thing, honestly) about this adaptation.

Which is why I was disappointed that they didn't show a kiss between him and Marianne.

Look at this signature. Good. Now you'll remember me.

I was the opposite. I saw this first then him as the Governor so he was very yummy from the beginning. He did an amazing job as Col. Brandon. The whole time I was like why in the world would Maryanne choose Willoughby in the first place.

YES. Brandon was so handsome and kind, and she wanted the goggle-eyed sleeze? Well, the reason is that she's a silly brat; I could never warm to this Maryanne, looking very out of place and childish in his arms at the end.
