I certainly hope they create a PROPER alien for this sequel.
The Sara alien in Species III was just atrocious! The design/angle of the face alone was so out of whack it's humorous. And Sara's breasts? Too small in alien form, that's for sure! And no blade-like spines on the back as in the first two films. It makes it look like a cheap knock-off. And don't get me started on Yosef! Just horrible!! Ugh!!! Amelia looked okay in the DVD's behind-the-scenes doccies. They should have used the Amelia puppet more.
The Sil and Eve creatures were absolutely gorgeous, but then I suppose that's because it was H.R. Giger's work...

I think i heard that Giger has cut all ties to the Species franchise, and therefore they can't use his designs anymore. If you look at the flashbacks at the start of III you notice that SIL transforms into something more Sarah-like

Hollywood studios almost never respect an artist's vision and concepts.
The Species film "franchise" is no different.
It's a shame, really. I love H.R. Giger's work. He's incredible!
