Not a part of the Species Trilogy
Species: The Awakening did not even pick up on the trilogy of Species. It's just a regular script SciFi had wrote.
shareWell gee... first of all Gomer, a trilogy is three films. Of course it's not part of the first three.... Secondly, Scifi is a network, and they don't write films....and thirdly, read the credits for the other Species, and you will see that the same producer produced them Gomer. Oh, and a writer named Ben Ripley wrote Species 3...so I guess Sci-fi Channel didn't write it. But I tell ya what Gomer...you are right about one thing, it's not the same as the first three...Probably for the better too...

But seriously, no kidding this movie doesn't have anything to do with the first three. The only way it really could is if Sarah showed up. They took the franchise a new direction because that's what they needed to do.
