What the hell did they do to that poor Woman?

What did they do to the Spanish woman they kidnapped and how did it help Miranda?? Azura injected the woman, then we see Miranda in a cocoon (no idea where the other woman is, but Miranda gets her clothes so it looks like she's dead) and Forbes talks about inpregnating her with ALIEN DNA and she appears to be reborn; what the hell?? Why inject her with alien DNA if they needed something from the human woman's body? How would IMPREGNATION help Miranda and what exactly did it do to her anyway? What exactly did they do to that woman? I thought they only needed some samples from her anyway, not to KILL her.

From what I could tell (and it's been some time since I saw this movie), they impregnated that woman with the alien DNA in order to grow and collect some alien stem cells. A freshly fertilized egg rapidly multiples into stem cells, which would be even faster for these aliens (refer to the second movie to see what I mean). They don't really explain how this killed her but I'm assuming she had to be killed after that type of exposure to the alien DNA. Anyway, after gathering the alien stem cells from her they were able to inject them into Miranda and this somehow cured Miranda of what was ailing her.

Well, it was either her or Miranda. They somehow could save her if she was injected with something from a human. After the procedure, injecting DNA from a human into Miranda's half human body, Miranda became 100% human. Understand?

Me neither.

Nor could I understand Miranda's motivation to kill. The creature from Species had a reason to dispose of guys.

And don't even get me started on the battle of the aliens at the end. What a lame ass movie!
